Opening its doors in 1992, the Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament has enthralled thousands of visitors with a trip back to medieval times. Guests are entertained with an array of sword fights, knights on horseback and jousting contests. The castle can accommodate up to 1,000 guests at a time and many nights are completely booked out. The meals are served by “serving wenches” and the food is authentically medieval – but outstanding. The environment is lively and sometimes a bit loud, but the experience far exceeds any discomfort.
